80年の長きに渡るシャガールの画業、そして彼の追い求めた人生は、そのキャンバスの中に全てあります。世界中の人々に深く親しまれ愛されたシャガールは、ある面複雑で、その姿は捉えがたい存在です。本展では、初期から晩年に至るまでの代表作25点を展示いたしました。

Marc Chagall’s work as a painter for more than 80 years and the life he pursued are all expressed in his canvases. Chagall, who is now well-known and loved by everyone all over the world, was in a way a very complex and incomprehensible person. In this exhibition, there were exhibited 25 masterpieces from his early years to latter years.
